The amount of exercise that you conduct is much more important that how intensive the exercising activities are.

LDLs are known as bad cholesterol because it turns into toxin when it combines with oxygen particles. And when that happens, there is a high possibility that your arteries will get clogged and hardened. This could lead to heart complications like high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke.
Most people have the misconception that lowering down their cholesterol level involves high costs. Well, it doesn't have to be that way if you are willing to put in some effort and have some simple lifestyle changes.
A small change in your eating habits can contribute to lower cholesterol level in your blood. You can start by taking more fruits and vegetables into your diet because it plays a major part in reducing your cholesterol level. Eat at least 5 servings of fruits on daily basis. Be sure to add green tea into your favorite drink too because they all contain high level of antioxidants. They can prevent free radicals to combine with oxygen in your blood and produce toxins.
Avoid taking too much processed food that contain high amount of artificial colorings and anything that are proven to contain high levels of fat. And that includes fried food, seafood and whole eggs. They might be healthy for some people but that doesn't mean they're suitable for you too. If you insist on eating fried food, then you should switch to healthier options like olive and coconut oil to fry your foods.
Start taking low fat or skimmed dairy products in place of the regular and full-fat ones because they can help you to lower your cholesterol level. You should also eat more of lean meats like turkey and chicken in place of red meats because of the same reason.
Spending at least 20 minutes a day to exercise is also a great way to lower your cholesterol levels. You can do whatever you like as long as you're using your muscle and sweat. After all, that's still better than not doing anything.
Drink more water so that your body can process the waste and toxins that build up in your body. Our body needs at least 8 glass of water a day so that your body is properly hydrated.
